For the past 3 weeks, Oakland High school was visited by Julia Dorosh, Program Associate for Earth Team and Campus Coordinator for Pinole, Antioch and Alameda High Earth Teams. On January 4th, Oakland High interns joined together again after a much needed winter break. The meeting started with high’s from the time off, a comical discussion of where the mid-semester stipends went to, and a discussion on the day’s main outcomes.

Last week, Interns partnered up with ESA Juniors to kick off the year-long, ongoing lunch time monitoring of the four 3-Bin Stations at Oakland High. It was a bit crowded, but it was nice to gain the monitoring perspective and give constructive feedback to Juniors to help ensure a successful 3-Bin system.
